The Texas Pepper Restaurant and Gift Shop is a full-service family restaurant established in 1985, featuring Tex-Mex, steaks, seafood, burgers, beer, wine and margaritas.
We are known for our ability to adapt to the changing times and desires of our customers. Having begun with only BBQ in 1985, we now have a very diverse menu. We offer a full line of Mexican food prepared fresh daily. We offer catfish, shrimp, rib eyes and spaghetti and fettuccine dishes. Stand-bys are hamburger steaks, chicken fried chick dinners and of course, Charlie's Pride, a chicken fried steak. We hand-cut and tenderize our steaks daily.
Texas Pepper also offers a small-appetite menu as well as a senior citizen menu. Memberships are available for alcoholic beverages. Food portions are generous as well as delicious, and our Chocolate Eruption Cake, carrot cake, and Italian cream cake are a testament to this fact, which makes this place so hard to resist. So when you are in the Lake Livingston area, make it a point to come by Texas Pepper Restaurant. It will be a trip worth making.
