San Jacinto counties. Around the 450 miles of shoreline you'll find a wealth of attractions including marinas, golf courses, campgrounds, boat launches and vibrant communities. Whatever outdoor fun you have in mind, you'll find it here.
Legendary fishing
Lake Livingston is a top destination for serious fresh water fishermen. Each year, the lake is host to several sponsored fishing tournaments that draw contenders from all over the state, where anglers both pro and amateur catch white bass, striped bass, catfish, crappie and bream.
Boating
You can bring or rent just about anthing that floats to Lake Livingston, from bass boats to jet skis and kayaks. There are several public boat launches around the lake, and several marinas where you'll find food and gas. Whether you're fishing a quiet cove or blazing across open weater, there's plenty of room for everyone.
Hiking and camping
Camp right on the water's edge or in the shade of the pines at Lake Livingston State Park or Wolf Creek Park. The parks offer sites for tents, trailers and cabins, and feature boat ramps, fishing piers, swimming, picnic facilities, hiking trails and many other outdoor attractions.
Golf
In Livingston you'll find the 9-hole Livingston Golf Course & Driving Range. Other golf courses around the lake include the Cape Royale Golf Course and Waterwood National.
